Tithes and offerings are how we support the church and the ministry. The Scripture teaches us in Malachi 3:10 Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in my house, and thus put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts; see if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you an overflowing blessing. (The tithe is a tenth of all that God has increased us with). I Chronicles 29:14 teaches that everything belongs to God and we are simply giving back to Him that which is already His.
